What does Ashland need to do to improve in 2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

I can't remmeber his name, but they lose one of the best full backs I have ever seen play the postion. I know they where looking like they wanted to through the ball the little more to go with a all ready great running game so who knows. I hope the Tomcats go a long way this year.

Josh Alber was the RB, great back that did a lot.

 

With Sam Hunter back at QB, I look for them to open the offense up a little. Look for Ryan Wetzel to be Hunter's primary target.

Josh Alber will be missed – no doubt about it. But, the Tomcats will have several fast, sturdy running backs in: Rogers, Davis, McLeod and Stafford to name a few. Rogers was impressive last year especially later in the season. Sam Hunter (Jr.) QB will be a 3rd year starter. He should be poised and confident. Trent Hardy (Sr.) was a difference maker last year at DE and DT I look for him to have a big year too. I know I’m leaving several names out and I apologize for that. I’m told there is a lot of young talent coming up too, but I’m not familiar with the names - yet.

Ashland will once again IMO be the best North-Eastern Kentucky football team. I think Ashland and Johnson Central will battle for the #1 seed in the district with the winner getting to play Highlands 1 week later than the loser. (Part of the trouble with being in AAAAA)
