Tony Hopper resigns at Apollo

The Owensboro Messenger Inquirer is reporting that Apollo head basketball coach Tony Hopper is stepping down after six seasons at the school. Coach Hopper tenure at Apollo was a successful one as his team went 116-68 and appeared in the 3rd region championship game 4 of his 6 seasons at the school. No word on any potential candidates for his replacement at this time.

Coach Steve Sargeant just left Seneca to move to Owensboro.

Wouldn't be surprised if he isn't the next coach at Apollo.
