Not true. I was at the game (both nights). The leadoff batter walked. The second batter struck out. The third batter hit a high chopping ground ball to Anthony Steffen at 3b - he attempted a double play. Brossart got the runner at second but the runner at first was safe (to high of a chopper to turn a double play). Brossart's catcher then overthrew the first baseman on a pick-off attempt and the runner went to third base. The next batter struck out to end the game. So the inning went; walk, strike-out, fielders choice, strike-out. Only one man left on base and very little drama.
