This was a first round All A game in the 9th region. Josh Bertke was a one man wrecking crew pitching a complete game for the win, hitting a HR and driving in 3 runs.

 

Beechwood hosts Villa Madonna in a second round 9th Region All A game on Tuesday.

Granted, Bertke’s effort was outstanding, but this was a really good ball game. As the score indicates, this was a tight game.

 

Aaron Warren also went the distance for Lloyd, pitching very well. The Juggs had bases loaded in the top of the 7th and couldn’t push the tying run across.

McGuire had a HR, Brown a triple, Plageman a double….
