The Falcons held thier end of season banquet this past Wednesday. Many awards were handed out.

 

I can't remember the listing of who got just what, but what I do remember is that my son received his second Varsity letter, he got a trophy for being the WHVO Player of the Game for the State Championship Game and he received the "Mr. Offseason" award for showing the most improvement in the weight room.....coming within 110 pounds of the 1,000lb Club. Something he was really shooting for. He hurt himself on a wet day, fell on the field and stretched a thigh muscle and landed on his knee.....had to take some time off from lifting, so he was upset that he came up 110lbs short. But I'm still so proud of his accomplishments.

 

He was the strongest underclassman on the team, third strongest overall...and the only Falcon that would have made the 1000lb club this coming year.

 

I love and miss my son!
