Gallatin County / Oldham County predictions

Featured Replies

Is it possible??? Might we actually have a ballgame tomorrow night???

Gallatin County (18-6) travels to Buckner to play the Oldham County Colonels (10-14) on senior night.

Gallatin has had a great year under veteran coach Jon Jones, one of the region's best mentors. But they've dropped 3 of their last 7, including a bit of a surprising loss to Henry County. The coach's son, Zach Jones, will be key for the Cats.

Oldham County has won four in a row, and five of their last six. Their lone loss during that stretch was to Shelby Co. by 3. Oldham County has been a different team since star sophomore PG Kerry Smith (13 ppg) returned to the lineup.

Both teams have struggled with injuries during the year to key players, but appear to be healthy enough heading into this one.

The game will be broadcast over the Pegasus Sports Network, beginning with a pregame show at 7 pm. Go to http://www.pegasussportsky.com to listen...the game will also be archived for 6 months, beginning 24 hours after the broadcast.

Both teams are largely healthy for the first time in a while...Oldham got a win over North Bullitt last night to improve to 11-14.

Colonels have the size advantage, but Gallatin may be a bit quicker across the lineup.
