I've never had Dish but I have had DirecTV for 5 years. Just re-upped for 2 more when I upgraded to HDTV. I love it and will NEVER go back to Insight Cable. I did consider AT&T U-Verse but decided against it because they are at present an untested commodity. In 2 years if they are still offering good incentives to sign up I may consider that.
