This was the second of a two-game series. Clay County played at Trinity last year and lost 42-38. That game was played at Trinity.

Most of Clay's games that are tough are played at Clay...and they havent won one of them.

 

Respectfully disagree with that one. Henry Clay would be a quality win for anyone. As far as the rest of the 13th goes, North Laurel is a top 8 quality team, and I could think of other teams that most would rather play in a one-and-done type setting (and a district rivalry). Also, Clay County has a quality neutral site win over Perry Central, and beat Franklin County in the Frankfort Civic Center.

Henry Clay, Corbin, Lexington Catholic, and Trinity

 

Their major opponents at Road/Neutral Sites:

Franklin County, Perry County Central, Jeffersontown, Fern Creek, Henry Clay, Shelby Valley, Hazard, and South Laurel. Also, they have a remaining game at Tates Creek.

 

Corbin has certainly earned the respect of the 13th Region, and deserve their ranking to date. However, I don't exactly think that your above statement is an accurate picture of their scheduling. You are correct in saying that they have lost to the majority of these opponents, but I don't really see anyone lining up to play such a schedule, especially considering that many of these games were in succession.
