North Oldham boys vs. South Oldham boys in Goshen this Tuesday (2/2/10).

 

South wins the district #1 seed with a victory and goes 3-0 in district play. Dragons coming off an impressive victory over Anderson County in which they outscored the Bearcats, 40-19, in the second half. The Dragons continue to shoot the ball well from the floor, and having a million shooters, it seems, who can shoot the rock.

 

North is 1-0 in district play and can claim the #1 seed with a victory over South. (even if North were to be upset by Trimble County in their final seeding game, the Mustangs would still win the #1 seed over South via head-to-head competition) North has struggled against a brutal schedule this season, but has picked up a couple of solid wins of late, including a victory over a good Fairdale team and a win over Henry County. Devon Rowan is establishing himself as perhaps the best post player in the region, despite being a sophomore, and Alex Foley is headed towards claiming the career scoring mark at North.

 

Winner gets Trimble County in the first round of the district tournament; the loser gets Oldham County, as Oldham and Trimble have already clinched the #3 and #4 seeds, respectively.
