Congrats to the players and their new coach. Where did all the naysayers go? I remember many posts in the summer about what Coach could not do. They should be on here saying they were wrong and begin to support a homegrown coach. There is a lot of season left so let's get behind these boys and see if they can get to a 20 win season.

Would love to see a 20 win season. Anything less would be disappointing with this schedule and the way several teams are down this year. Great year for Bracken (with their size and talent level) to step up and post a 20 win season.

Do these tournament games even count because, I know they only had two officials all week.

A twenty win season would be great, but if they do not quite reach that total why would that be a disappointing season. Why is this schedule any different than schedules of the past several years that have not produced a 10 win season? If you really check the schedule you will see it is probably tougher than the past couple of seasons. Why would you even question their size or talent level? Are you a full time scout? You do not know the amount of hard work and how much heart these young men have. Instead of trying to give backhanded compliments why don't you just wish them good luck for successful season.

I don't think he meant this as a backhanded compliment. He simply meant is as, Bracken County's schedule is reasonably easy, and they have the talent to win 20 games.

If you check their schedule you will see that there are very few teams they play with a winning record (several teams they play have 1 or less wins), thus my reasoning for several teams they play being down. This is one of the nicest teams I have seen Bracken have in a while with BOTH SIZE AND TALENT, thus my comment. I hope they have a very successful year and win 20 games. Unlike you, I'm not sold on the coach just yet, is that saying I hope he fails, NO.
