26-22 at half as Boone kinda slept walked through it. Defensive intensity picked up for the Lady Rebels in the second half as they held HC to just 7 points, only 2 in the third quarter and the other 5 coming late in the fourth.

Could you hear Nell from the stands during halftime?

I didn't particularly listen but I'm sure she had some things to say! And it seemed to work.

How did the freshman PG for HC, Beal, look?

I liked Beal a lot. She has gobs of potential. Quick, pretty good handle. With playing time and experience I think she will develop into a fine, fine player.

I agree. I saw her play this summer and was very impressed. Good size for a PG. Very nice FT stroke.
