If you use my theory, I say yep.:thumb::sssh::banana:

I guess you also wrote off South Laurel after they got smoked by Corbin in December two years ago. How did that turn out?

Nope, South Laurel has tradition, state titles, numerous regional championships. Why would you write off a team with all of that going for them? Matter of fact, I picked them to win the region before the tourney started. So once again, you're wrong.:ylsuper::banana::clap:

Doesn't make much sense does it? YOU might have wrote South Laurel off, but now if you're talking about a team that always has high expectations without ever winning a region or a BIG game in the region or any tradition, then yep, you write that type of team off. :p:ylsuper::sssh::banana:

Where was your team last season?

Oh yeah, losing to McCreary in the region tournament on their home floor...

LC was the two time defending champ last year. They were beat by the better team that night in the regional semi's.

As for this year, I think West and McCreary will be there in the end. However, I haven't got to see a lot of teams yet... it appears to be wide open.

Russell beats Lincoln bad at Lincoln.

Mercer beats McCreary at home.

Wayne beats Mercer at home.

Lincoln beats Wayne at Wayne.

I do not think you can pick a team for this region - yet.

I wouldn't say Russell Co. beat LC bad, it was a 4 point game with around a minute to play (RC went on to win by 12). LC actually had a double digit lead in the second quarter.

That being said, Russell Co. is 4-0 and they returned 4 starters off a very good team that went 23-7 the previous season.
