Like I told you on the phone, never say that this college is out of my price range. Let them make an offer, after financial aid has taken a look. You might be suprised what's available. My son wasn't a state champion, his PR was 17:04 in high school and he had alot of interest from colleges. I was not looking for a full ride, only help to pay for college, and I got that (more than I expected). To better your chances, the schools do like that the runner could be counted on for Track, Cross Country, and Indoor track. Go to the college websites and fill out their questionaires here's one of many http://www.lindseyathletics.com/recruiting/14/4.php You have my number and call me for any questions you might have. I am more than happy to help out a fellow CC parent!

Thanks to all for responding...Rebel, I'll definitely keep your number. No telling what will happen with Kevin's times...I well aware of where he "stacks up" right now, but he seems to be improving rapidly. And he loves the sport....so I wanted to get started learning all I needed to know about college.

Hard to believe he'll BE in college in 2 1/2 years...want to help him get there. If CC can help, all the better!
