George Rogers Clark is in the driver’s seat and controls its own destiny. The Cardinals, who opened district play with a stunning 12-6 win at Henry Clay last week, can inch a step closer to the district title with a win over Tates Creek Friday night at Cardinal Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

 

 

 

The Commodores are in their second season under Mike Harmon, a Tates Creek graduate and former coach at Lafayette. The Commodores are capable of scoring points and are known for using the “spread” offensive attack. “He spreads it out and they throw the ball,” Columbia said. “They’re more comfortable with his offense than they were last year. They have good talent as usual, good speed, good size and they’re going to be very tough.”
