What does Rowan County need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

They will need for someone to step and be a leader after Brockman and Riddle graduated.

And don't forget Martin, especially the way she stepped up in the regionals.

Last year the Lady Vikings were being counted out because they lost Spurlock, Barr and Howard. Next year, the posts will probably say they will be lost without Kiser, Kissinger, Muncy and Neeley.

 

The Lady Vikings have players developing with every class and for at least the past few years have played team ball and not relied on any single player to carry the team.

Scott Tackett is a players coach, and he will continue to do great things at Rowan.

Their coach does a great job of getting his players to improve throughout the entire season. They are very organized at all times but still play as if they are relaxed. That takes someone who knows how to coach. Too often coaches do their job for self gratification instead of coaching to help the kids be better people and players.
