Brossart will be representing the 10th Region and Villa the 9th Region in the All "A" State Volleyball Tournament.

What happened to St. Henry in the 9th? Did Villa beat them?

St Henry, Newport Central Catholic, Beechwood, and Holy Cross did not participate because they are in the Louisville Invitational Volleyball Tournament which is held the same weekend as the All "A" state. Last year it was held the weekend before Districts started. Hopefully the people incharge will change it back and also use the volleyball regions instead of the basketball regions.

In my opinion, St Henry would have been the favorite this year with NCC second, to win it all. But, we'll never know.

Yes it is a shame that the defending Champion NCC won't compete in the tournament this year .

How can defend it's the first annual :O

Well, Touchstone decided to finally sponsor it after years of asking. Last year, Steve Howard, Owensboro Catholic's coach, took the bull by the horns and had an All "A" tournament. He put it on a weekend so that all the school could participate. So yea, to bad NCC can't defend their title!

This is not the first annual All A State Tournament. Last year was the first annual but it did not have corporate sponsorship. In last years' innaugural All A State tournament NCC defeated St. Henry in the championship match. Louisville Holy Cross and Owensboro Catholic were the other semi-fianalists.
