Bryan Station 56 George Rogers Clark 24

Bryan Station showed why they are rated 10th in the state. Congrats to the Defenders.

The Cards are off next week. Next game is rival Montgomery Co Sept 4th at GRC.

Wow. Bryan Station may be the class of Lexington this year in 6A. GRC should still have a pretty solid year and I see them rebounding in the weeks to come.

I agree. Their running back had 5 TD's and tired for his 6th with only 20 seconds to go but failed. Not sure why he was even still in the game. GRC had all of their subs in.

The running back #28 was out for the whole 4th quarter, that was a freshman running the ball in the 4th. Great job Defenders, still looked a little rough but a win is the right way to start the season. Defense looked good offense needs to improve but overall a great win for Bryan Station.

One word for GRC fans this football season..."BASKETBALL"!:madman:

From the Lexington Hearld:

McCaden had 14 carries for 236 yards and four touchdowns — five if you count his fourth-quarter kickoff-return TD — and led the Defenders to a season-opening 56-24 thumping of Clark County on Friday.
