July 10, 200917 yr Sounds like in the next year or so the "local" paper will be nothing more than a few pages wrapped around a USA Today. The newspaper business is on its last legs, and don't be surprised if local radio isn't far behind... Would be very much a shame. I emailed all of the Homer people to tell them they had lost my listenership with their latest changes including listening to Lance when they went to national radio. I turned on the radio and it was Yankees this and Red Sox that and no talk of the Reds. Didn't want to hear it and went to 93.3. Now when I get back in the car in the afternoon, it stays on 93.3 and does not make it's way back to 1530. For JS, the Enquirer is a much thinner paper than it used to be. Sports 4-6 pages of stories at the very best.
