gold sunrise Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 What does Carroll County need to do to improve in 2009/2010? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.
setforlife Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Heard that they juggled their coaching staff a little for the upcoming season. This might have an impact on the outlook for the panthers this season.

michigan Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Coach Yager did a commendable job his first season at the helm. Carroll returns Will Yager the coaches son who can flat out shoot the ball. They also return Proctor and Craig, who played a lot last year and at some point and I think started. Problem is the district they are in is competitive to say the least with Owen, Gallatin and Henry. They will struggle again for wins I think but will be competitive all season long. Yager will be a good pick up for some smaller colleges. Good luck Panthers!
CCHS_Dad Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 What are the changes? JV coach may be going to the middle school and the middle school coach coming to the highschool. JV coach is also the cross country coach and head baseball coach so it would give him more flexibility in the spring.
CCHS_Dad Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Carroll will probably run more this year as they won't be as big inside. Coach Yager will have them ready!
Lunatic1 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I predict much success this year. I also look for a faster, quicker team with more of an outside game. Lots of the younger players were really stepping up at the end of last season.
RoundBallFanatic Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 This will be an interesting year for the Panthers. Although they have some good young talent mixed in with some very good experienced players it will still be very difficult replacing the graduating seniors. Those seniors have occupied a lot of minutes over the past few years. That being said I still think this team will be make it very difficult on their opponents and it should be another ultra-competitive 31st district.
ugotgame Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Andy Sisenstein and Ethan Stewart really stepped up for the Panthers late in the season. Look for these two to continue where they left off.
