18-2, 13 straight wins. They are ahead of where I thought they would be at this point in the season with such a young team.

Franklin County put on a great tournament this weekend. North Laurel is the real deal and are a great group of girls. They were very polite throughout the weekend and seemed like a very mature team.

They are good kids. They are extremely mature considering there are only 2 seniors (1st team all state catcher Rachel Akins & CF Courtney Brock). Over 1/2 the team is frosh or middle school.

 

I had heard from someone else that Franklin County did a very good job with this tourney.
