We went down tonight to a good Russell team. Our GCHS girls are athletes and have nothing to hang their heads about this year.

 

This coaching staff this year has done more for these girls, truly a great job. If they stay with the program, the administration gets these girls the facilities they need (indoor hitting facility, etc.), GCHS will be a power house in the softball program in the very near future.

 

It would be great if any girls program got some extra facilities, but the boys always come first. Look at all the work going on at the football field, baseball field, etc. You never see anyone running to get the girls fields done. Hopefully they get what they need.

We are going to get it done, promise you that... It had been 30+ years before we did anything to the football field, I think you will see GCHS athletic's pick up in all areas in the very near future.
