Qryche11 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 With the Birds returning a very solid 8 Sr's next season who all either started or played a significant number of minutes, what will this mean for the underclassmen? The 5 or 6 sophomores on this season's roster will be hard pressed for Varsity minutes with that talent. Next season's sophomore class will be pretty decent and probably compete for JV minutes. How does the new coach handle this situation?

How does the new coach handle this situation? This is a bad cycle that Highlands has been in for some time now. To break the cycle new coach has to involve at least 2 Jrs next year on varsity and make sure sophs get JV time. Then he has to start to develop the middle school program where he can count on 4-5 good players from each class. The skipping of whole classes has really hurt the program.
