How will they do this year? I think they have some real good players on the team.

With seven returning starters and a few seniors that came back out for the team they should be much better this year.

Is the young Schwalbach still on Newport's team? Or has he graduated?

Yes Schwalbach is a senior this year.

I know he hits the ball a TON!!

I know alot of these boys played for the American Legion teams "Legion of Doom",that won the City Tournament as Knotholers, numberous times. I know that Boonie Sizemore and Travis Jones is playing but is standout shortstop and pitcher Brandon Tucker going to play this season?

Brandon Tucker has given up playing baseball.Travis Jones will play SS again this season and Boonie Sizemore will be a starting OF.

I hate to hear that Brandon is not on the field. They still have a solid core with Jones, Sizemore, Klaas boys, Schwalbach, etc. Alot a of baseball savy in this group ..........good luck Wildcats!
