Final from 13th Region at Bell County High School.

North led most of the game and seemed in control but could never put the Lady Cardinals away.

South will play the winner of the Pineville/Harlan County game Friday night at 6:00 PM.

Great come from behind win for the Lady Cards. The point gaurd for North Laurel has to be commended, she has the heart of a state champion. She is a class act in every aspect of the game.We all will miss watching you play.

North led the entire game until there was 2:20 remaining in the game. North got off to a great start, but unable to finish down the stretch. Great effort on the part of both teams. South put together a terrific comeback especially after not hitting 1 field goal in the first quarter. They did it with pressure defense.

2 years in a row these teams met in the first round of the region. Good luck to the Lady Cards the rest of the way!
