Starting next Saturday at E.A Diddle Arena:

 

12pm- Cumberland County vs. Bowling Green

1:30pm- Allen County-Scottsville vs. Russellville

6:30pm- Warren Central vs. Russell County

8:00pm- Franklin-Simpson vs. Barren County

 

 

Seems to me that the 16th district really got the raw end of the deal. Allen County-Scottsville probably got the best hand dealt that they could've gotten. Franklin-Simpson SHOULD be able to handle Barren County.

 

My prediction will be an all 14th district final again between Warren Central and Bowling Green.

The 16th District got hammered. The 14th District has very much owned the regional tournament the last two years, and they are a matchup nightmare for them in terms of style. Greenwood lost to Metcalfe County a few years ago, but Greenwood is a slower paced team. Warren Central and Bowling Green love to run, something I haven't seen a team in the 16th do well since Monroe County in 2003.
