2nd game

Hopkinsvill 58 Christian Co. 51 4th qrt. 6 mins left

Hoptown leads 68-59 with 3:03 left in the game.

Christian County keeps pushing back, but 1 is as close as they've gotten (at 58-57 following a 9-0 run). It's 68-63 with 2:33 left. Hopkinsville basketball.

Turnover Hopkinsville, and Christian County will have another valuable possession. 2:25 left.

Christian County up now 69-68 after a furious rally!

It's 71-70 Christian County now, 31.5 seconds left and Colonels ball. Timeout is called.

The Colonels went on a 10-0 run to go up three before Hoptown pulled back within 1.

Would this be a big upset if Hoptown won? Isn't Christian County one of the top teams in the state this year?

It would be an upset. Christian County ranked #19 in the latest BGP poll, and beat Hoptown by 21 earlier this year.

Christian County has one full timeout left, Hoptown has a full and a thirty.

Hickey left all alone for the Colonels and they're up 73-70. After a deflection out of bounds we have a timeout with 5.5 seconds left. Tigers ball, and Hopkinsville, which once led by 11, will have to hit a three to send it to OT.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet on a foul here before the shot.

5.9 left, Hoptown three from the corner, no good, CC walks. 1.3 left. Pass comes in, shot from the corner, GOOD! OVERTIME!
