kysportsfan4life Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Any stats? Sounds like this one was fairly close, then?
stewjt Posted February 17, 2009 Author Posted February 17, 2009 I just got back both of Rowans games and don't have any stats yet. Madison Co. lead most of the first half, but Rowan pulled in front in the final minutes of the half. Rown came out in the second half and extented the lead up to about 15 pts. at one point.
INDIANFAN Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Rowan shot 51 free throws to 21 for Madison Central in the game. 14 fouls on MC in first half to 4 for Rowan. Most of these came within the last 3-4 minutes when the MC lead went from up 7 to down 4 or 5 at the half.
MSUEagles Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 51 free throws? Wow. I'd say this was an exciting game to watch
INDIANFAN Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Lyndsay Jones had 15 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals and several assists for MC, Jenna Cornelison had double digits points and close to 10 boards, but not sure of the actual #s for her.
Over And Back Posted February 17, 2009 Posted February 17, 2009 Teams better have a good lead going into the final quarter against Rowan if they hope to win. Rowan can really notch up its "d" in the final quarter and is a good free throw shooting team. With the recent losses of East to Lewis and of Ashland to Elliott there is no question in my mind that Rowan is now the hands down favorite to with the 16th.
