This years Raceland Freshmen team will have some trouble with numbers, this class has all the way through since flag football, but they do have some nice football players.

John-Kyle Valencourt is a very good athlete, that has good speed and put some much needed height on over the last year.

Austin Blankinship is another very good athlete that brings some new dimension to this team, he has played RB/QB/WR on offense, and is more of a safety on defense. Good height and good speed.

On the line, Doug Abrams has played since birth and is a good OL/DL, Devin Thomas is sometimes a full back and sometimes a lineman, I think he is more needed on the line. Levi Hunt has very good size and getting stronger in the weight room. Caveman Caldwell is an excellent lineman will be a force on both sides of the ball.

Ryan Tolliver, yes that is right we have another Tolliver, is a good athlete and could be the QB or a WR, and is a DB on defense.

Kyle Morris is a full back type player on offense and could be at a LB spot on defense.

Ram, thanks for the info on our Freshmen. I wasn't aware that this class had number problems. I know that the class numbers are good, so why are they not coming out for football?

Is Beach in this incoming class?

This class has always been low on football numbers, the class is heavy with girl numbers and low with boy numbers, I think the margin is 3:1. The freshman class will have about 12 players, more then likely. Unless some more begin playing that have set out a while, or never played. But, with the class behind them, they will have success in high school.

No Beech will be an 8th grader next season, in a class that is going to be something special. The 2010 freshmen class will be another 2008 class, they have a lot of size and a lot of speed and talent. The 2010 freshmen will be a very special class, the coaching staff is already seeing them a lot and should have great success with that group.

Is this is the Beech I am thinking of? I remember him playing JFL at Wurtland in 2 or 3 grade.
