Ladycats record goes to 11-9 going into a key, key 38th District matchup with Harrison County on Friday.

 

For this game, Ladycats had close to 20 point lead and did not finish the game well. Missed layups, turnovers and poor defense allowed Nicholas County to make a run. Cudos to Nicholas for never quitting.

Ladycats could have scored 80+ points, but they missed a lot of free throws and good shots from the floor. If they can play for a full game, or about 28 minutes of good basketball, they should win the district. According to the banner in the 'Woodshed' the last district title was 1995. They might even win 1 in the region.
