Strange had 42 points, 21 in the fourth quarter, while hitting 12-of-12 from free throw line in the fourth quarter.

Monster game by Strange, seems like he has been playing for Pineville at least a decade! Maybe the best guard in the 13th for his overall game. Who do they play in the finals of the All A?

Middlesboro Yellow Jackets won over Harlan. Jackets are one of the most talented teams in the 13th. Coach Strange will have to dig deep into his bag of tricks to beat the Jackets tomorrow.

Have to disagree somewhat with you Bubba. Middlesboro is talented, but Corbin, South, Clay and Knox are a whole lot more talented.

They are six deep and that's it. The Green kid can play, though. He's a smooth shooter.

Corbin would beat them by 30, South would beat them by 15 with St. John, Central would have beaten them by more than six at their place last week if Miller would have played more than four minutes in the first half and Clay is a deeper and more talented team than them.

With that said, they'll probably win the region now. LOL.

I'm leaning toward Bubba on this one. I think Middlesboro has the second best talent in the region. As Les said, they aren't as deep as Knox Central and Clay, but I like the talent of their top six better than either and maybe South, too, but I haven't seen South since the summer. I've heard South isn't that deep either this year.

It depends on when you see Middlesboro. Some say Green is the best and some say Brown. I think Smith is their best player.

You're kind of the guru, so I won't argue with you HDE, but I have to disagree with you about their talent equaling up to South Laurel. They have NO ANSWER for St. John.

They do have something a lot of teams don't have and that's speed. You know, the type of speed that old Mick wanted Rocky to have.

They don't match up with St. John, no doubt.

If you put both teams together though, who would start? I bet it would be Brown, Smith and Green from Middlesboro and Smith and St. John from South.

It would be Green , Middlesboro's Smith, Gilbert, St. John and Dean.

There would be no way Dean or Gilbert wouldn't start.

Brown has speed and lots of it, but when I've seen teams put pressure on him, I've seen turnovers, missed shots and hurried shots.

We'll have to agree to disagree on this point, I guess.

Are we the only ones debating? All the other 13th Region observers can jump in and tell Les that I'm right.

I thought this thread was about Pineville and Lynn Camp. Strange is the best gaurd in the region best of luck in the finals tonight.
