January 20, 200917 yr Author My first semester of French, our class had the opportunity to go to Quebec, so my parents scraped up the money to send me. I'll never forget the phrase my teacher told us it was essential for us to learn..the one that would ensure we were never in a compromising situation........ ................Où est la salle de bain? Always helpful after 2 or 3 pints of bier!!! My family is going on a 2 1/2 week cruise covering Western and Northern Europe this year and we are ending our vacation with a few nights in Paris. I'll have to remember important phrases such as this.:banana:
