Notre Dame 50 Simon Kenton 48

QUOTE=Mr. Athletics;3213634]Wow. Sounds like a great game. Any details?

Walker was out with an ankle sprain from a last week. Game really was back and forth with Notre Dame pulling ahead in the fourth quarter. Lots of pressure defense and lots of turnovers from both teams. NDA took better care of the ball in the fourth which really secured the victory.

Tolliver had 17 for SK

Jackson had 14 for NDA

Delph had 13 for NDA

Being pro Panda mind you, I thought NDA played well as a team with pretty even scoring across the board. Great ball movement in the final quarter by the Pandas.

Solid fourth by Ammerman.

I heard from one of the refs so I wanted to correct the information I posted. The whistles are in support of the Jimmy V Foundation's "Blow the Whistle on Cancer" ® campaign. She said:

"Our association purchased the pink whistles and the officials were asked to donate one game fee to show their support. As of last week, we had raised over $1600". "We will be using pink whistles for the next two weeks, Jan 12-24".

Nice to see the community spirit from the Ninth Region refs.
