Meniffee played a smart ballgame. Their girls knew how to befuddle the younger girls from Rose Hill and they had countless steals and runouts. They had a good game plan and got to play a lot of girls also.

 

Rose Hill girls, keep your heads up and keep plugging. Your time will come but this is valuable experience.

Got to see Lady Royals for the first time this year. Coach Watkins essentially has a freshman/middle school team playing varsity for him and I wish him, his staff and the school nothing but success. Make no bones about it they have a lot of work to do but they can keep everyone especially those younger kids coach Watkins will have very special team in a couple of years.
