I have no kids and volunteer to coach almost all year. I coach a middle school team in the winter and usually have 1 or 2 AAU team for HS/Middle School during the summer.

I myself volunteer with a local group called S.T.R.I.D.E it is a group of mentally and physically handicapped kids and adults that are brought together to play all sorts of different sports including basketball, softball, soccer, and bowling. I love these guys like they are my family and enjoy volunteering my time to help them!

I volunteer and coach my youngest son's rec league team and I volunteer to keep the books at my oldest son's freshman games. I love doing both because I like being as close to all the action as possible.:ylsuper:

 

I also love it because I hate sitting in the stands and listening to all the complaining because it doesn't matter what level your kids are playing at, there is always someone in the stands complaining about something.:madman:
