Trinity 73-68 in OT

Trinity down 18 in 2nd quarter!

Sewell hit huge 3 late in OT to put Trinity ahead for good.

From Mike Fields Blog on Lexington Herald Leader

  • We’re going to overtime with the score tied at 60. Boone County had a chance to win in regulation, but Steven McFarland misfired on a forced shot from the lane.
  • Interesting opening game in the Republic Bank Holiday Classic at Lexington Catholic. Boone County hit unbeaten Trinity with a 29-4 blitz to take a 33-14 lead midway through the second quarter. The Rebels led 35-24 at halftime. But Trinity rallied to go ahead 44-43 lead in the closing seconds of the third quarter.
  • Georgetown signee Steven McFarland had 8 points, 6 assists and 3 rebounds at halftime for Boone County. Josh Sewell had 11 points for Trinity at the break.

Does anyone know who Boone plays next?
