Very good win for Raceland

Good win against a very weak Powell Co. team. Raceland plays hard and the Barker kid looked good.

Nice win for the Rams and as others have said...I understand that Cody Barker played a very good basketball game. I believe that C. Barker is an underrated player in the 63rd dist. and the 16th region, not lot of people are talking about Barker when they discuss Raeland. Barker imo does an excellent job and he along with T. Boyles (who I believe is the best guard in the 63rd and one of the best guards in the 16th region) will carry the Rams this season, those two are the only experienced players returning from last years district champion team.

I believe that Raceland will be a much better team at tournamnet time as the younger kids gain more experience.

 

Raceland is now 3-5 and will meet Greenup Co. tonight in the Derby Classic.

Boyd Co. will meet West Carter tonight in the Raceland "Derby Classic" championship game. Host Raceland will meet Greenup County in the 3rd pace game.
