Pre-season 2nd ranked team in the 16th travels to Lewis Co. to take on an improved Lewis Co. team. This will be East's 2nd game of the season (according to Riherds) and Lewis's 3rd game.

I think East has to much size for Lewis. I'll take East by 12.

I say East by 7 points. After the double digit loss to Tates Creek I am not so sure if East is the #2 team in the region or not. There may be no #2 team at this point in the season. With the loss of Johnson and Sagraves they may not be as strong as last year. Maybe they will be by the middle of February. Tates Creek is very young with a lot of sophomores and is probably the 5th best team in Lexington after Catholic, Bryan Station, Dunbar, and Henry Clay.

I look for East Carter to come out and show the fans of the 16th region that they are the second best team in the Region.

Any Wayne Breeden coached team is going to be very tough. Tates Creek played Scott Co. tough tonight losing by 5. East will be fine, they have a good nucleus of talent. Things tend to even out later in the year with teams that have other legitimate sports and well-rounded athletic programs making strides on those who focus on only one sport.
