PurpleHaze
Although Grayson Co's schedule is weak, they had only given up 51 pts in five games going into this game. 17 points was the most they had given up in any one game. BGHS had 19 going into the second qtr. Senior RB Tevin Barksdale scored four TDs in this game (two on runs and two on passes from senior QB J.P. Jackson). DB Tyreon Clark scored on an interception return, his second this season. Reserve RB Dylan Carver scored two rushing TDs in the fourth qtr. Jackson had his first career 200 yd passing game. Two more offensive starters, junior RB Lavance Anderson and junior WR Wes Cole, couldn't play tonight because of injuries, but should be back very shortly. BGHS has their open date next week. However, two weeks from Friday is Senior Night against our final district foe, Barren Co. Win that one, and you can stick a fork in 5A District Two...it'll be done! DragonFire
It was done the moment they defeated Central. Just like any year, the winner of that game will win the district. I think I'd eat my fist if Barren or Grayson ever managed it.
