Dough_Boy Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 Bath Co. laid down in the 2nd half. This team is really going to have to step their 2nd half game up or come playoff time they are going to be hurting. This is a very talented team. They have to start coming out at halftime ready to play!!!!!!!!!!! Williamsburg is very talented team and their QB has a great arm and some great receivers!
Chant_50 Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 WHS had a poor showing in the first half with some turnovers and they gave Bath some big plays through blown assignments and not tackling. The second half was very different. The Jackets really hit Bath in the second half; I have never seen WHS hit like they did in that second half. The burg will have to put together complete efforts against tough, focused teams in order to win. Bath seemed to lose focus in the 2nd half and it hurt them as WHS outscored them 32-8.
friedtaters Posted September 20, 2008 Posted September 20, 2008 I'm beginning to think Bath just isn't making the adjustments at halftime of these games. That falls back on the coaches. Bath definately has more talent than they are displaying right now.

nomorenoles Posted September 21, 2008 Posted September 21, 2008 The Jackets need to be able to maintain their intensity throughout a game. They have not played a complete game yet. Once they get zeroed in they will be very hard to handle.

How would you have seen any adjustments from the coach. The second play of the half Williamsburg created a turnover (Which Bath had a major edge in the turnover battle.) On the next series their running back goes out, which pretty much ended the game. I do not think your being fair.

Also know Bath also has the athletes to take over a game. Was just saying that with all things equal, and I certainly think Bath has equal talent to Williamsburg, then it comes down to coaching and breaks and maybe they just didn't get the breaks. Just my opinion.
