I think we can still score more than 14 with Steele and Mitchell both back. We're hurt but not destitute. We did have 12 against Campbellsville's D.

Clinton will pull the upset here. LC is hurting and will be overconfident, Clinton is better than the score agaist Williamsburg indicates plus LC won't throw it 25-30 times. Clinton 24-20.

Overconfident? We have 2 starters out and are on a 2 game losing skid. Does that really sound like the makings of an overconfident team? C'mon, now. I've been around them all week and they are all business about this game.

No, we don't throw the ball 25 to 30 times. Are you saying that Clinton is shutting down running teams?

 

They are giving up just over 34 points a game. LC is giving up 24.

CC scoring average is 18 points a game right now. LC averages 15.

 

It is no secret that LC's kryptonite over the years has been pass Defense. Clinton has averaged 100 yds a game passing. They run a lot, and LC does still have a decent to good run defense. Clinton is giving up well over 200+ yards rushing a game. (Williamsburg, a very pass oriented team, ran all over the Bulldogs friday. 312 yds rushing, 293 passing, 605 ttl yards.)

This could be a very entertaining game.

 

Demmons, Lawson, Brown and Durham are what Lynn Camp has to worry about. If we don't slow or stop them, it does not matter if we run or throw.

We still have a very good O line. We also have some RBs, plus a QB, that can still run the ball.

He's out right now. Could be back in week 9 or 10 from the sounds of it all.

As of 9 pm, it looks like we are as healhty as we will be for a few weeks. A couple are out, a couple are back. (I just hope no one falls in the shower or gets stung by an African Killer Bee or develops the plague overnight!)
