The bottom four teams (7-10) in the BGP 2A top ten are a combined 1-11. Should we expect to see some new teams in the top ten this week or is it simply strength of schedules?

Strength of schedule. Bardstown lost to a pretty decent 6A team, Nelson County, 24-18. Had the game run another 3 minutes, Bardstown would have come from behind to win it after being down 17-0 at half. They nearly pulled out a tremendous come from behind victory against a good 5A team, Woodford County. Last night they lost to a top 4A team, Warren East, 36-35. Up next they have district games against Danville and Washington County, a "breather" against a good 3A team, Elizabethtown, and perhaps 5A's best team, John Hardin, before finishing with Fort Knox and another 6A team, Warren Central.

 

Last year, Bardstown entered the playoffs 3-7, beat Danville at Danville, and lost to Ft. Campbell on the road by just 8 points. Despite the 0-3 start, I believe Bardstown (who is starting almost an entirely new team) deserves a top-10 ranking.
