Mercer County finished 15-18, but made it to the semi finals of the 12th region tournament. What must Coach Souders do to get his team over the hump this year?

Mercer just might be a top 5 team in the 12th region. They beat Southwestern last year in the region pretty easily so they should be taken serious.

Mercer County has one of the best coachs in the region. They lost Spivey to graduation but I am sure that he will have them ready come tourny time.

Has anyone heard anything about what kind of team Mercer will have this year? :sssh:

It is my understanding also that they have no seniors. Where do they fit in and also East has a transfer from LCA that makes them a contender--So Mercer will have their work cut out for them just to win the district. :confused:

He has a knack for wanting to double team point guards from Wayne.

He tries to doulbe team everybodies point guard. It gets him trouble quite a bit!! I hear he has a girl from Mercer that played on a wayne AAU team---what has the world come to. Surely she did not wear Wayne gear!!:ylsuper:

Monticello has a very good team.

Mercer will be better than most think. Souders outcoached Tim Rice last year and beat Southwestern when everyone laughed that game off.
