Another week, another win for Monroe County. Win over Taylor last week was surprising considering the Cardinals were a sleeper pick to win their district. Beating Adair County doesn't shed much light on the level Monroe is playing at. The jury is still out, but things are definitely looking up in Tompkinsville.

No doubt the Falcons will have to earn any respect they get, especially after the horrible season last year. Last week the Falcons tied a school record by scoring 35 in one quarter and this week the JV came in early in the 3rd qtr or this one could have been real bad.

I think you're right. We had this discussion last weekend, as well. Region II, District 3 is going to be a lot of fun this year.
