Ricky Bowling had over 340 yards passing 5 tds, Cobb over 150 yards receiving and Quillen over 100 yards receiving and a 92-yard kick-off return for a score.

South looks ready to roll. Holy Cross never quit in this game, actually led 7-0 before South Laurel reeled off 28 unanswered points. Exciting game.

HC didn't quit. Down 28-7 at one point I believe. Bowling is a great QB and Quillen had an excellent game. HC moved the ball pretty easily jus twice they had it in the red zone twice and couldn't score, once on the five. HC also had a brain fart on a kick off.

Bowling is an exceptional QB.

Both offenses looked extremely good.... but the defenses on the otherhand were closer to the poor side.

South Laurel's d looked good in the 2nd quarter only, Holy Cross looked bad alnight on d.

Actually in the first quarter South couldn't move the ball on the ground.

Bowling was 18/28 for 362 yards and 5 TDs. Not a bad start to the season. If he can match his totals for last year (40 TDs) he will break the record. Cobb had 3 TD receptions. Nice start to his season as well!
