July 30, 200818 yr I still think that the death penalty should happen along time after the actual conviction. We have seen too many life in prisonment cases reversed due to other evidence 20 years later When has it been enough time? 5, 10, 20 years? I think you should get your chance through the appeals process but once that is over whats the point in having someone sit on death role for 10 more years.

I dont like the idea of sending an innocent man to die; because he could not prove his innocence in some arbitrary time period.
