In the Grant County News this past week:

On May 21, the road to the University of the Cumberlands was completed as McIntosh signed with the NAIA school, where she will play on the junior varsity team for coach Lissi Fuller, who is a former standout at the University of the Cumberlands. McIntosh became the second member of the Lady Braves to sign this year.

Selena will also be participating in track at the university. Way to go & best of luck! It's nice to see the girls we talk about & support on BGP's continuing to play beyond high school. Nice to see coming out of Grant County! Keep it up! :ylsuper:

Congratulations to Selena. I'll add her to the list for the show this weekend.

I double checked spelling on her name...it is Salena! I had it incorrect in the original post.

2 is correct of the 3 seniors on the team. Sarah Johnson signed earlier with Spalding to play basketball. The third senior (Hopperton) was 2nd in her class & will be attending NKU to study.

So ..with 2 of the 3 seniors playing basketball at the next level what will Grant Co. look like for 2008-2009?

Congrats to Salena!
