Ashley Pugh, first Pendleton Ladycat golfer to sign to play collegiate golf

Recommended Posts

HUGE Congrats to Ashley Pugh of Pendleton County.

She signed a letter of intent to play collegiate golf at St. Catherine College. She is the first Ladycat golfer in the history of the school to sign to play collegiate golf.

She and fellow senior Sara Scaggs were leaders on the Ladycat golf team this year that set several school records. They both first picked up a club their freshmen year after Pendleton did not field a team the year before.

Four years later they led the Ladycats to a first ever berth in the KHSAA tournament.

No Ladycat golfer had ever qualifed for state as an individual or a team.

In addition, Ashley is tied with Sara for the school record for low score for 9 holes.

Congrats to Ashley for continuing to set Ladycat golf history and good luck at St. Catherine.
