The CovCath vs. Simon Kenton game that was to be played at Simon Kenton on Monday will be played instead at CovCath @ 5pm. Have no idea why this game is being moved, but?

 

The CovCath vs. Cin McNick game that was to be played on Tuesday at CovCath has been canceled by McNick who begged out of the game.

 

CovCath will be traveling to Newport Central Catholic to take on the Throughbreds at NCC Wednesday.

No idea, just was given the info in Louisville after the last game of the day. I am really sorry that McNick dropped out, as I was looking forward to seeing both Pau Uhl and his Dad. Paul is a senior lefty of McNick who played for the Ky. Colonels last year. Great kid and is Dad is really a nice guy to sit and talk to during a game.

McNick cancelled out on Ryle also several weeks ago. Reason given was that they were running out of dates to get in some of their required league games, so I'm guessing that the same reason may apply to this cancellation.

I guess it is for the same reason, but I don't know for sure! Really don't understand why CovCath keeps scheduling McNick, as they seem to do this almost every year, especially when the game is to be played at CovCath.....

SK field is under construction from what I hear.

I also heard that the McNicks JV team cancelled on the Colonels as well.

Affirmative, they haven't hosted a game this season. From what I hear, it may be ready in a couple of weeks.

What type of construction is SK doing to their field? And why would they wait until baseball season to do it?

Reconstruction of the football field may be the issue, parking etc. Saw yesterday quite a bit of work was inprogress with heavy machinary all over the place. Just guessing. Simon is putting in turf.
