Did Morgan play their varsity players? 7-0 is definitely closer than expected, but the game was probably never in question.

Yes, starters were played throughout. While I don't know what you mean by "in question", but Elliott had them loaded once and 2nd and 3rd once so they had opps to at least put a few on the board.
