Final from Game 1 of doubleheader. Mason County had the tying runs on in scoring position in the 5th; Clark County broke the game open with big 6th and 7th innings. Something like 19 or 20 hits for the Cards.

I think I had Clark with 16 hits. They pushed 4 across in the 6th and 3 in the 7th.

I was impressed with Clark. They have some nice, live young arms. Still a little rusty on defense, but most squads are at this time of year.

We lost several very good players that are playing college now to graduation last year. I know we have Jordan Baker and Evan Bennett back. Young group this year.
